Hey guys i just installed my electronic oil pressure gauge in the oil filter housing. I tee-ed it off so i could use both my aftermarket gauge and my stock gauge. When i took off the stock sending unit there was a considerable amount of oil that came out of the housing but after about 3-5 minutes it stopped. I am about 500 miles away from an oil change, so should i just change the oil so that i have a full supply of oil in the engine when i start it up?
What type of things should i do so that i don't ruin my engine by trying to start it with the amount of oil that i lost? Thanks

. I know that they are vastly different (like 15psi idle and 55psi high-rpm).
. I thought it was supposed to be 10psi for every 1k of RPM. So 7000RPMs should be 70psi!?
I know that when you first start it up it goes over 100psi.
