whats ups guys I have had my 1990 eagle talon tsi awd turbo for almost a month now . The car only has 85,000 miles on it. The timing belt broke on it . The owner before me got a new head , one or 2 new pistons new vales. needles to say the car runs good. I plan on heavily modding this car. But from what has happned in the last month i learned that these cars are not the hondas im used to and parts go a little quicker. In the past month of me owning the dsm , I had to replace the Alternator , 2 Serpintine belts, and my harmonic dampener. I was wondering if you guys could give me a list of good tune up / maintanence for my 1 g dsm. The clutch is decent but i will be upgrading since it wont be abel to hold the power i will be pushing out soon.

Here is what I have so far

Timing belt ( and all other belts)
Water pump
New clutch

thanks in advnaced

Personally I'd delete the Rear Balance Shaft & disable the Front B/S ASAP before they destroy this Motor you are preparing to flog. Check or replace every Hose, every Fluid, every Gasket & Seal you get anywhere close to - These things are HARD on Rubber! Get it running great before you go too far in any direction - Then if you just hang around the Boards for anytime wahtsoever you'll see what else needs to be done...

Hey buck thanks for the response . What do you mean by " I'd delete the Rear Balance Shaft & disable the Front B/S ASAP " and is this sumthing i could do myself ? Sorry for the newbness

Thanks for the info . I guess a great time to do this would be when changing all my belts ?
