ok i just bought a 95 tsi awd with about 96,000 miles on it, its got a newish 14b a 3in turbo back and an intake, it seems to run realy good already but i just want to make sure that its running as perfect i it can before i start doing performace mods to it. so i was wondering what you guys all think i should to getting it going like tune up wise. like a timing belt change i know is one thing but what else should i do. sounds stupid but i dont really know what a full tune up consistes of. like trans fulid change and stuff maybe. should i change the oil since im not sure the last time it was done, and could you give me any tips since im new to dsm's thanks alot

Yes! If you don't know if/when it's been changed -do a timing belt change! Change the other belts too, and replace all fluids. If you don't know when these things were done, you have to assume that they weren't. And check out http://www.vfaq.com for all your instruction needs.

Have fun (after all the maintenance) -these cars are a blast!

Regular things, spark plugs & wires, all fluids changed including oil, and of course the timing belt.

Check for boost leaks, run a compression test, and your all set.
