What is a good oil pressure gauge to buy? I have needed one for a while and have not gotten around to getting one. Also, what size sender do I need? I definitely need to get the whole kit, as my current wiring sender and gauge are crap.

Thanks!

Whats wrong with the stock gauge?

On my first dsm over 7 years ago I had a bad experience with an oil guage. Original owner had bent the copper line that went to the sender so it was pinched and I could not even notice it. Till one day I was driving home about 1am it decided to break. Leaking all my oil out. I was on the highway with the music blasting and when I get off the exit I look down and see no oil pressure and water temp maxed.

I turn off the music and roll down the window to hear the worst rod cracking noise I have ever heard. I put the clutch in and it stalled. I dropped the clutch in 1st while rolling about 15mph and all tires locked up adn I screeched to a stop. MOTOR SEIZED!!

I ended up welding the number 4 rod to the crank, luckily I could still save the crank.

Not saying it will happen, but the stock guage works just fine.

One of the previous owners wired the cheap faze one in wrong and now neither the stock or the faze gauge works.

I just ordered a prosport gauge with a sender included.
