Hey guys I have a stock engine in my 92 laser rs and I just put a boost controller and a new boost gauge in. Do you guys know what I can safely turn my turbo up to without damaging anything?

Thanks for any replies.

All of this is being said with the assumption that the car and motor are in good runnign order. You could be very happy with 15-16 lbs. I would rewire the pump just to make sure that it will be able to keep up.

Or just up it to 14 without the rewire and get yourself a nice open air filter or do the cheaper/free mods to your car and you would be happier I would imagine.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but what exactly do you mean by rewire the pump? I assume that you are talking about doing something to the fuel pump to make it push more fuel but i don't know for sure.

Thanks

You just run a power wire from the battery to a relay that powers the pump. This way it will always have good voltage and run at its peak performance. If you search for it you will get a ton of post that tell you how to do it and exactly what parts you will need. You can always check out www.vfaq.com it has tons of info and instructions.
