I recently just bought a 1995 Talon TSI. Its automatic. I would like to make a few mods to the car but i do not want to mess anything up in teh engine and what not. I would like to purchase a boost controller. I know that i need a boost guage before i got the boost controller so i know where im at. But if i am going to raise the boost, what other precautions should i take before doing this?

cant boost too much on stock.
set it the boost few pounds higher than stock, t25 has a hard time holding boost so youll notice a drop in boost in higher rpm.

dang, i forgot about all the characteristics of a t25

Would it be a smart idea to get a full 3 inch exhaust system. This means id have to get a downpipe and full catback exhaust right?

3" piping..

its a nice upgrade, sounds good too.

however if you are going to put this on a stock o2housing, its unnessiary.
maximum opening for a stock 2g o2housing or a evo iii o2housing is 2.5... i suggest you go with a 2.5 downpipe and get a 3 cat back with or without a cat..

use the search function, type in any keyword.. youll noticed that whatever you are curious about has been discussed.

2g modding has been around for awhile now and just about everything has been discussed.

enjoy and welcome.
