I plan on dropping a kit, fenders on it. New rims, most likely advan's. I found headlights, clear corners and tails. I'll be doing an evo 3 eahaust manifold and o2 housing. Apexi N1 downpipe and catback. Hiflow cat. Possibly do a 20g turbo upgrade over the winter.

I also want to find an electronic boost controller. That way I can drive it at 7# of fuel economy and crank it up to 16# or so when it needs to be a bit faster...

I'll post pictures later.

Sounds pretty sweet. In terms of putting in an Evo 3 manifold, I don't think you need one. You already have a 2g one, so you don't have to worry about it cracking. I think you should just port it and the 2g o2 housing, and that'll be fine.

Also, be careful when buying the N1 downpipe and catback, because the downpipe eliminates the stock cat. So if you went full N1, you would not have an area for the high flow cat you want. Try to find an exhaust with a test pipe. That will allow you to swap in the cat when you do your emissions, then take it back out for a cat-less exhaust.

Sounds like a nice car. don't know weather or not you got a good deal since we don't know how much you paid for it. 93&94 AWD laser seem to ne rare. All I usually see on here are 92's.

I picked it up for $1150 cdn. The seller was asking $4500 for it...

I also tried my extra neon parts: invader cf hood, aerogear z3 fenders, 17" Hp Racing Lightning rims with nitto neogen rubber, dohc head with PnP and upgraded springs and lashers. Also a tranny with a clutchmasters stage 2 in it.

Yep.. I only have 91 octane in it now. I was out in the middle of nowhere. Boost is adjusted down to about 7# now. I want to empty out the tank and then run a bottle of fuel cleaner through with some 94 and then crank up the boost a bit.

Spools nice. The bov has a nice sound to it. Completely different than an srt4 with a turboxs h-rfl.

Only thing is that the owner before the seller rock guarded the lower panels so I need to sand it all off...

Sounds like a good deal to me. Just the bolt-on mods alone would cost more than $1000 easy. You have any pictures of it?

Sounds pretty good, I would go with Derek's(Brute) advice on the exhaust with a test pipe to swap it out for a cat before emissions. As far as a BC a MBC or EBC, either would be fine, one you could adjust while driving, and the other you just have to pull over. Are you recirculating the BOV? If not do you have a GM MAF? If your awnsers are"No", then you will be running rich, and either recirculate the BOV, or get the GM MAF. Also is it a manual trans? Im guessing it is since you said it shifts great, but still. If you haven't done this yet, change the plugs out for a set of NGK 7s, flush the rad., change trans oil, rear end fluid, engine oil, do a compression test, and pressure test the cooling system.Oh yeah and as far as the 20g that you want to put on it, what kind of psi would you be running, because to fully utilize it you will want to up the psi, to 22psi or so. But you will need atleast 550s(high IDC so they will burn up quickly, so i would go with 650s or larger), get a SAFC or the more versitial DSMLink with a logger. The 650s will be pushing the tuning accuracy of the SAFC if you dont know the SAFC like the back of your hand. The Link will allow for more precise tuning, and allow for larger injectors, so lower IDCs, and more room for tuning, and more boost.
Hope that helps, and keep us posted,

Dustin

that's all we have down here is 91. I run 16-17psi fine with no knock. Get a logger no need to empty out the tank and put fuel cleaner in it.

Yep. I am pretty sure I am a member of LAC. never made it to a meet tho. Had a neon. Was told that I would be frowned upon.. LOL. I know where the meets are too. I have been by but never stopped in. I know a few people that hang out there as well.
I'll have to check out that dsm site. I have been trying to read as much as possible with this car. I know a neon and everything that I can do with it. I am trying to learn the same with the dsm.

I have to go through the site and read the tech forums.
