just got 96 talon and a 4g63t motor want to put together

I bought a 96 talon from a friend it has no motor in it, and I picked up a 4g63t motor from him a little while later but before I put it in I want to do all the work to it that I can if anyone can give me some good ideas or walk me through it that would be great.

If I get a service factoty manual would I just ask for the one for the motor or the for the car because my friend could be wrong about it coming out of that same car

make sure the chasis is truly from a turbo car before you worry about anything else:

check the VIN plate on the car
First 4 digits:

4A3AL=all wheel drive
4A3AK=front wheel drive

An F as the 8th digit indicates a turbo motor (4G63T), while a Y indicates the non-turbo, Chrylser motor (420a). This is for 2Gs only.

If that is an NT chasis you will not be able to get that 4g63 in there without a crazy amount of work.
