I'm trying to line my tran's and motor up any good ideas to line the splines up.?:dsm:

Use an extension and ratchet inserted in the crankbolt on the driver side and turn the engine over so the splines will line up. Of course you need an extra person to do this for you if you are trying to muscle the trans in to place. :thumb:

Make sure you used the clutch alignment tool to align the clutch disc. Then just play around with the input shaft until when you lift it up it just slides on nice and smooth.

What I did since I was working alone and only had a floor jack was pull the trans back from the engine a few inches and turned the shaft for the transfer case. Then I would try to install it. If it didn't go I would pull it back out and repeat.
