Had a shop do my engine build for me. They told me not to do any hard driving for at least 500 miles. So far i only have 199 miles on it, and its been about a month. I decided to do a compression test and it was 160 128 130 160 cause i noticed my vacuum at idle was little on the low side.

I have Je pistons 9.5:1. My vacuum is at 8 in/hg at idle. I do have hks 272 cams. Could it be that piston 2 and 3 haven't seated yet or do i need to goto the shop and bi*** at them, cause they messed something up.

I got my ecmlink v3 installed and it tuned just for 10 pounds so basically off the waste gate. And i did about 8 1st 2nd 3rd gear pulls. After doing all these i noticed my vacuum at idle is now pretty steady at 13 in/hg. Reason why i have it at 10 pounds, i don't want to push it to much yet.

Good. Breaking a motor in means driving it like you want it to be driven right away. It doesn't take alot of boost. It just takes way more cylinder pressure than putzing around with it waiting for it to break in itself. . .

Ya i can't wait to run 35psi, car is gonna move out. When i 2 step it at the 10psi that its at its all ready spinning all tires.

ehh if something was installed wrong or if there was a ton of metal shavings of some sort. Im pretty sure ton of damage would have been done and car wouldnt be running that great. I was just really concerned at first but as the miles climbed and the harder i beat on it numbers got better. its just running off the waste gate with a basic tune with the ecmlink no advance timing or anything. Just got all the numbers where they should be. Idk man at 10psi it slams you in the seat in first. There is so much potential waiting to happen. Im very excited to see what this beast has.

So how's it looking now? Did it ever get up to 170 across all cylinders? Still running good?
