Just changed my timing belt, now I have an oil leak? Why????

I just changed my timing belt, and that was a headache in itself. Now that the car is all together and running again, I have a major oil leak coming from the driver's side of the motor, only when the motor is running. At first, I though it was just a pinch in the oil pan from jacking up the motor, so, I changed the oil pan gasket, and still the same leak. I got up close to it and it seems to be dripping out of the bottom of the timing chain cover where the harmonic balancer is at. What could I have possibly F***ed up enough to cause an oil leak????????????????????????? I am about to sell this Fi-ng car, so PLEASE help me out here! The funny (ha ha) part is, I just had the car painted two weeks ago.

By the way, it is a 94 Talon, non turbo, non awd 2.0.

Sounds like your seal for the front balance shaft is dead. May as well pull it and do the bs shaft elimination while you're in there.

I don't know if this affects the 2.0 nt's but on my 2g I didn't really tighten the two auto tensioner bolts down tight enough and they go into an oil galley. When the engine was started and there was oil pressure oil leaked out from those holes. I figured it out by taking everying off (all accesory belts, and timing cover) and started the car just long enough to find out where it was leaking from. Good luck, Kevin.
