Let me know what you think of my car. This is my second DSM my first was a 94 Talon TSi. Here is a list of what has been done to my new car.
Built by CM Motorsports in California. . ENGINE...dyno'd 301.2 whp and 257ftlb torque @19 PSI -Lancer GSR motor with 75k -HKS 264/272 combo -PTE 3431 57 trim max -2g mani with TIAL external wastegate -denso 550's -HKS Intercooler -HKS ssqv BOV -Walbro 255 Fuel pump -APEXI AFC -ARP head studs -balance shafts removed -prothane motor mounts -3" turboback with BLACK magnaflow muffler (no cat), -2g maf with FP 4" intake pipe -hallaman MBC set at 19 PSI -fluidyne radiator with 14" spal fan that flows 1400 cfm's -brand new 63mm throttle body, has the half shaft mod,MAINTENANCE... -NEW bando timing belt, koyo idler pulley, mistu tension pulley... all seals were changed including CAM seals, main front seal and oil pump seal -NEW oem carrier bearings for driveshaft DRIVETRAIN... -Galant VR-4 tranny with short shift kit -ACT 2600lb with a 6 puck disc -brand new front axles and rebuilt 4 bolt rear axles SUSPENSION... -JIC Magic FLT-A2 Coilovers , 15 way, technique sway bars INTERIOR... -auto meter phantom boost gauge -AEM UEGO wideband -apexi afc -auto meter tach w/ shift light -momo shift knob EXTERIOR... -8k HID kit -JDM yellow FOGS BRAKES.. -brembo OEM replacement rotors FRONT/REAR -AVIDOS carbon metallic brake pads FRONT/REAR VIPER Alarm
 
I did not pay anything for it i traded my 89 k5 blazer on 8" lift 39.5 tsl swampers 350 sm465 and divorced np205 twin stick. I never used it anymore and he wanted a project for him and his son. So done and done. I will post pics in a minute have to figure that one out on here. I m new :rocks:

Im pretty much green when it comes to DSM's I know a little but not a lot like most of you on here. So any help would be greatly apperciated.
 
Looks like it could be a fun car! Be sure to check all of your fluid conditions and tune up, brakes, along with a steering and suspension check to be sure that the car is good to run around town.

So the motor being from a vr4 is that negative or plus? Or does not matter?
 
It's just that VR4-4G63 motors came with 510's and B16G stock from the factory for the Galant.

the Galant VR4 was a bit more of a hefty car than the Eclipse .. and built in Japan.

4G63T Bore/stroke, capacity — 85.0 x 88.0 mm, 1997 cc
Compression ratio — 7.8:1
Fuelling — ECI-MULTI, premium unleaded fuel
Peak power — 177 kW (241 PS; 237 hp) at 6000 rpm Peak torque — 304 N·m (224 lb·ft) at 3500 rpm

..not complaining with these factory specs from Japan ....

Thing about dropping a JDM VR4 in an US built DSM is the ECU isn't going to match what this motor is really designed to do.

Thus, in stock form to make it run right, one has to drop down to 450s to match up with the stock ECU unless some engine management can be installed to work with the stock 510's - DSM
