I have recentley bought a 92' tsi awd...
The timing belt broke and he bent the valves...
Now I know how to change the head, but I was woundering what would be the best valve and retainer set for me?

see im a little new with these cars does the 92' tsi awd come with a 7-bolt or 6-bolt tranny...and also which one is better i know one of them are..
i want to go with the one that comes with the 95' eclipse gs-t...
and as for cams.. after summer but information would be helpful on my later mods...

No problem. By the way, why would you want a 95 motor ? Those were one of the most prone to crankwalk. The 99 motors were the best ones that never really saw that problem. Keep yours, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
6 bolts aren't better, the only difference is they are less prone to never crankwalk.

6 bolt and 7 bolt it the number of bolts that connect the crank to the flywheel.

when referring to 6 and 7 bolt we mean the engine.

From 1990 to late April 1992 came beefier rods and the use of 6 bolts to secure the flywheel to the crankshaft; May 1992 to 2006 Evolution versions have lighter rods and use 7 bolts to secure the flywheel to the crankshaft. They are referred to as the "six bolt" and "seven bolt" engines, respectively.

Hey man thanks. I want to do this car right ya know jsut asking alot of questions if not sure... So your saying it could have either a 6 or 7 bolt in it just depends on what time of the year the car came from....

SHouldn't you be able to take a 1g DSM 4g63t 6bolt into a 95 Mirage except that your going to have to fabricate a custom motor mount right?
