Just alot of questions to answer.

First, I think my alternator belt is loose because everytime I turn my car on, it makes this high pitched sound and stops in a minute or so. Is there any minor way to fix this or would I have to get it replaced or something? If not, what would the price be? Next, the black trim stuff around my windows is chipping, anyone know where to get some new trim? And then my spedo is 7 miles too fast, how much would it cost to get it re-calibrated? That's just about the only things wrong with my car other than a cracked windwhield and I'm STILL unable to drive it due to a bad title and a seller who won't answer any calls.

Sounds like a fan belt ( u can tighten or replace )

I don't know exactly what an "accelerator" belt is but if you meant the alternator belt, then it may be an easy fix. Sometimes this issue is only caused because the belt is too loose on the pulley, causing that metal-on-rubber squeal. Just search how to tighten it and that could possibly fix that problem.

The chipped trim stuff around your window is called drip trim or something to that effect. There are a number of ways that you can make those look better. Of course you can try to track down some new OEM ones but that would be a lengthy process and you would probably come up empty handed. The way I currently have mine 'fixed' is I put a strip of black electrical tape down them. The tape has a very similar look to the OEM trim pieces and holds up for a while. However, if you are looking for a more long term solution, I have seen a few members on this forum using a few coating of a material call Plasidip. From what i know, it's a rubbery liquid that adheres to surfaces and gives a matte black looking appearance.

As for the speedo, I do not know much about that but I have seen somewhere on here a thread describing how to calibrate it if it's off, but personally I wouldn't bother with it and just remember that it's off.

As for the trim, I picked up oem ones from the local salvage yard and there is a tech article on how to install them. Not too bad of a job.

Anyway as far as the speedo, check your diameter of your tires. There probably not stock... A larger wheel covers a longer distance in one rotation than a smaller one. Like changing your final gear ratio. Nothing i know of that can fix that aside from a new speedometer thats calibrated for you ACTUAL ratio.

These cars all run E-Fans. No fan belt.
