Ok, i am trying to follow the steps in the tuning guide, i have the intake, soon to get boost controller and i will be purchasing something soon for my car. The question i have is what should that something be. Should i purchase things in the order in which they are in the tuning guide? Are those in any particular order as far as importance is concerned. Should it be a blow off valve, exhaust, or boost controller? Also, i have a friend that works at a muffler shop, and he said that i can get a 3inch exhust system for 200 bucks including a muffler. Now will that be good enough to get the peformance that i want, or should i stick with buying an expensive name brand exhust system? Thanks for your imput!

If you can get your hands on a 3 in exhaust then do it you will notice a difference. You should mod in order but getting an exhaust wont effect the flow of modding. the reason for following the list is so siome dunny gets a mbc before a boost gauge.

You don't have to follow it to a T. You should simply just get the modifications in level one before level two. Like you wouldn't get a injector upgrade before you got a boost controller or a boost gauge.

You will want a boost gauge and controller almost first and make sure you get a new BOV to replace the plastic ones on 2nd gens. :(
Exhaust will make such a huge difference on your car that you will think your driving another car personally. I love my car now that I installed the exhaust on it.

Goodluck on your choices
