JDM valve body the same?

Are the JDM valve bodies the same on the 1g awd autos as the American versions? I can't imagine them not being the same.

I could pull the valve body out of the spare jdm trans we have and take a look. WE ended up using the front pump out of a jdm trans in my usdm auto awd. So being as those parts and front clutches are the same I couldn't see why the valve body would be any different.

I spoke to Metro trans and they said the JDM one is a little different. I guess my JDM trans will be good for other parts. Thanks for the reply.
