Hey guys

I am doing my first auto build for a dsm and i ran into a slight problem. While doing the valve body upgrade the plate that goes between the sections of the valve body dropped off my work bench and hit the floor and got some scratches on it. I was wondering since these trans dont use a gasket like a chevy or ford transmission that i've rebuilt in the past, will these scratches render this valve body useless? And if it does make it useless does anyone have the part number of the larger 2 of the metal plates that go between the valve bodies?

Thanks guys
Kevin

Take some 1000 grit sandpaper and glue it to a flat glass surface, then take the plate (I assume you are talking about the intermediate plate) and resurface it until the scratches are gone.
