2G Jay Racing Alternator Relocation Kit - Installed Correctly?

The bracket in his install is angled and mine is straight? Also, I have a small block piece that has some counter sunk hex bolts that I have no idea what to do with. This kit is for a 2g/7-bolt.

Never seen one mounted at an angle like that.

The small bracket is for moving the power steering pump to line up with the other harmonic damper rib. If you don't have the instructions, I'd send Jay Racing an e-mail and ask for a copy. That should help clear things up.

Here's mine I just done. I'm using a Saturn alternator though.

You can run the adapter for power steering or you can switch to a 3 belt setup and not use the bracket. That's what I'm going to do.
