ok i have a 94 2.0 liter eclipse, since i bought this thing it has done me nothing but trouble. first off the tire blew out, then on my way to ged class the radiator broke and leaked all the water out, then it left me stranded at the local 7\11because the alternator went out, so the spare i have on it blew out tonight, and on top of it the motor is knocking. now i would sell it but ive ordered many parts for it allready, such as:tubular exhaust manifold,evo3 16g(both i have allready),o2 housing with atmosphheric dump, has a brand new head on it, o yes the headgasket was blown when i bought it,so! im giving it the turbo treatment! im going to slap a turbo on it regardless of the knocking, im saving for pistons ,rods, and rings, i will post pics of parts and installation on it=)

Amen, press on man. When you put that new head on, you should be aight for awhile as long as your timing is on. A DSM does have brighter dayz trust me, but yes I know it gets real cloudy sometimes too. Stick with it.
about 2dayz before I was supposed to get my car tuned, my tranny broke(well the throwout bearing broke the tranny) either way had to replace that, then the day of tuning I blew the headgasket and rings in cylinders 1&4. Now after 2.5months of waiting and preying and hoping, I've got a built motor ready to roll out, and I gotta say it feels so good.

the new head is on already when i ordered it , the guy said that the turbo and non turbo heads are the same including cams, now i no thats not true because the intake cam on the turbo has high lift but the exhaust are the same, am i correct? the head swap took about 5 hours where as my 1.8 head swap take around 2 =\ o boy,jus got all 4 new tires today and the o2 housing should be in shortly , that is the main thing im waiting for to turbo this thing because the outlet on the turbo is 2.5" and my stock o2 housing is 2 1/4", the o2 housing i ordered is 3" =)

i have a spare alternator at home! ROFL

just dont give up on it..its testing your patience.. just hang in there and post pics! :thumb:
