well the last week has been fun and long. here was my problem. i just blew my motor cause my boost spiked from 5.6 psi to about 14.(make sure you tighten the vacuum for the wastegate real good OMG ) destroyed two pistons :thumb: . so not to far after that i got orders to move from ga to mo. the army being the great organization it is, would not ship my car within the USA :notgood: so i spent the money to get a performance rebuild kit from concept illusions.(they rock) and then i kinda ran out of money so i built the motor myself. i have never built a motor before and had about 2 months to do it. so i got it all togeather and started it up. it idled for about 20 mins just fine and then it died. and would not start again(no fire) so i pulled the valve cover and had my wife hit the starter and to my suprise the cam gear on the exhaust side spun but the cam didn't :cry: this was all about a week from the time i had to leave. i got another head for 300 and i actually used a torque wrench on the cam caps :thumb: and it ran good. so i drove from augusta ga to ft Leonard wood mo on a brand new not broken in motor that i built......... :sosad: the car made it just fine and i ran 8 psi of boost. :rocks: so i am relocated here in the middle of bum fuc$ egypt(Mo) but i got to keep my car. :dsm: thanks for all the help on my little project guys and gals. and i hope to be a little more help on this site with my little experience.

i have busted 3 oil filters since i moved to missouri. in ga it was fine but here the roads suck. as far as a oil supply it works great. i get my supply for the turbo, my oil pressure and my oil temp out of it. i am Trying to find a short oil filter for it.
 
I wish I remembered the number of the filter I used... I went to autozone with my stock filter and how thick the adapter was, then found a filter that would hang at stock hight.
 
i got the stage 2. I think the only difference between the stage 2 and 3 is you get a crank with the 3. I didn't even turn my crank is was well within spec. it took about 2 weeks but they forgot to ship my main bearings. so that took another week or so after i got my first package. :notgood: you might want to check in to them now cause i heard they are making a 2.4 stroker kit. OMG
