So i tested my isc and got good readings from all connectors but 4 and 5 tested out to be 68 ohms.... does that mean its shot? or is a higher reading still ok as long as its not dead?

I watched that video, i was just curious as to how high is still good, 68 seemed a little high and i dont want to fry my ecu after i just sent it out to be repaired... but if you say its good i will just use the isc i have.

When the resistance is too high it will actually do the exact opposite then fry the ECU.

sorry im confused by your response....... so is it in good shape to use with the resistance being that high? and it wont do any harm to the ecu? is a high resistance a sign of the isc starting to go out??

My response was just referring to your post when you mentioned "68 ohms seemed a little high and I don't want fry my ECU."

Resistance (ohms) is also known as impedance, when its measured you are basically checking the circuits ability to oppose voltage. You saying that you were worried about frying your ECU because of too high of a resistance is similar to saying "Its 32* outside I hope I don't die from heat stroke." If the resistance you measured was lower than 28 ohms then you should be worried, with it higher though you'll be fine.

thank you i appreciate your help

with the high resitance, will I still have idle issues?
