I have recently installed a set of delta dks 272 in my 6bolt. They are installed straigt up with stock cam gears. At idle im seeing 13 to 16" vaccum which i believe is ok. Just out of curiousity I decided to test compression. Engine was hot and throttle held open and here are my results. Cyl 1... 160, #2...155 #3... 153 #4...158psi. My build it a 6 bolt with 2G pistons .020 over. There is about 10,000 miles on engine, does this seem low? Or should I not worry about it. Im getting ready to get it tuned at inovative tuning and dont want to just waste money on a tune if compression is low.

It seems pretty good. When I put my 272s in, I lost about 25psi in static compression per cylinder. With 9.0:1, I went from 200psi to 175psi across the board. So with your 8.5:1, your numbers are pretty good for having 272s.
