I can't find any consensus as to the real benefit of having an XACT streetlite flywheel. My goal is around 350hp and I have no plans of taking it to the track or autocrossing it. This will only be a weekend warrior. Why does Jacks recommend this flywheel? Is it worth it to buy an XACT flywheel if I can get it for $100-150? What worthwhile benefits would it add? Thanks.

It is the only thing that ACT sells that is worth the money.

Here's the plusses:
1. Way more durable than stock. Abuse the clutch with a stock flywheel, and it will be full of cracks.
2. Lighter than stock, so the car accelerates and decelerates slower.
3. Stiffer than the aluminum flywheels, it will have less deflection, and better clutch action.
I'm sure there's more but it's late and I'm forgetfull, it is a really really nice piece though. If you need your stocker cut, it makes the streetlite an even better deal.
