**EDIT** Got a new pipe at Jack's Transmissions garage sale, boost leak test hold over 20psi now with the stock 1g BOV back on. Problem fixed.
I got around to doing a boost leak test last night, and found out I had a MASSIVE leak from where my stock BOV was connected. This is due to new holes that were drilled when the previous owner put on a knock-off non recirculated BOV. I had replaced it with a stock BOV a few months ago, and found out that it was leaking last night when I did the boost leak test.
There is a hole on the bottom of the stock 1g BOV that was sitting right over the hole that the previous owner drilled (see pics). I didn't have a way to fix this last night, so I grabbed my other BOV that came with my FMIC (not installed yet) and bolted that on. I had to screw the top screw almost all the way shut to be able to get the car to hold13 psi.
Anyway, I took a video this morning of my new boost gauge / wideband installed (PLX), and I'm wondering if the new BOV sound is the BOV or compressor surge. Should I loosen it up until I can put the stock 1G BOV back on, or is this ok for the time being?

Once I got the new BOV, this is how long my car holds boost (almost all the air leaking was coming from the aftermarket BOV). Is this leaking out too fast? I did get it to slow down a little after I took this video.
