My buddy and I are building up his 1997 eclipse its just a GS but we are adding a turbo to it. He's got a 420A motor (stock). But he was looking into a Hanh Racing turbo kit with a FMIC. I told him we could build a better one for the same price. But since this is a newbie kind of question. Will a turbo manifold and downpipe bolt right up to a 420A motor if the parts are for a 4g63t?

Because here's what the mod list will look like when its completed.
1. Tial External Wastegate 40mm
2. Mitsubishi 20g turbo
3. Greddy Type - S Blow off valve
4. HKS Type 1 Turbo timer
5. Blitz SBC Spec - S Boost Controller
6. PTE 680cc Injectors
7. Walbro 255lph (high pressure) Fuel Pump
8. Dejon Tool FMIC Race Kit
9. Greddy E-Manage
10. ATR Downpipe
11. Greddy Evo Exhaust
12. Dejon Tool CIP-2gd Intake
13. Exhaust Manifold (We have no idea what would be a good manifold for this turbo)

Please give info guys. I'm not a DSM guy really I'm into 3000GT's so the DSM stuff I'm learning with. If there's anything else you think that we would need please post up. thanks alot.

manifold and downpipe wont bolt up.. if you would have searched you would have seen this.. a 20g will bolt up if the manifold is made to bolt to it. Same for the downpipe. Greddy BOV will work since you need to weld it to the intercooler pipes. 680cc injectors are huge for a 420a. Dont bother. As the list goes on half this stuff wont work. Get a turbo kit made for it, or dont bother.

everything else can be made to order basically. yet the only thing you are going to have to shell money out for is the manifold and of course the d/pipe. so if you go to a fab. shop you can have them make that part for you as well as you having to order the intercooler kit from maybe Hahn. but yes everything else you can get off of ebay.

ok thanks guys ill just tell him to go with that hanh kit, unless he goes with the original plan and get a new motor from a gs-t and build that which i would love! But ok thanks guys im out now
