I just put on the t3/t043 50 trim with a internal w/g,and my current fuel mods are a 190 fuel pump rewired,afc,550 injectors, and a buschur afpr. Now i took it to the dyno to get it tuned in a lilltle bit, because it was not making no power at 15 psi... and that was all the boost i was going to run until i upgraded the fuel. the turbo would make 15 psi then slowly creep up to 20 but it felt terrible!!!!So we take it to our local dyno, first pull was off the scale rich like 10.2 or something and i had -5 correction on the afc already at 15psi creeping to 20...and only put down 234whp...so we turn the boost up...so finally at 22psi, -15 correction on the afc,and running 37psi fuel pressure we get a nice air/fuel mixture! but its only making 280whp.....how is this possible to be running so much boost and leaned out as much as it is on 550's and a 190 fp????...i also had my logger hooked up at the time im not getting no timing1, i think i got like 9 deg. at the top of 4th! maybe knock sensor is the cause for everything i dont know!!!you guys give me your opinions sorry so long!!

You we're only getting 9 degs of timing advance? Definitly sounds like there is something funny going on with the knock, could definitly be robbing you of those extra ponies your looking for. Go pull a log and post it up here so we can see a more in depth look as to whats going on here.

I also agree with 99gst_racer, a chip would definitly help you out as well... Have you performed a boost leak test recently? Might be worth a try as well, you never know when those pesky little leaks are gonna pop up.

Im going to need some help on posting this log! I checked for boost leaks about 30 mins bfore i went to the dyno

Just because the A/F mixture was "nice" doesn't mean your not knocking. Some cars need to be richer than others, obviously if your timing is that low then your knocking bad.

So, you are leaning out the AFC, but you are still pig rich, right?
Sounds like you need to get an ECU chip for injector size compensation....
No we had to lean it out -15 to get my air /fuel at 12.0!! you would think that i would have to richen up the afc with only 550's and a 190 fp that and only 280whp is what i dont understand!

If i am knocking like you said would there be a lack of power even at 280 whp cause the car is still pulling really hard but not as hard as it should???

Well, your stock ECU thinks those 550's are 440's. So it's pumping alot more fuel than it thinks. That's why you are leaning out the AFC and you're still rich. You really do need to get a chip. You have a 95, so you have a EPROM ECU allready. Just get the chip and get it socketed and you'll be able to control your AFR much better. :thumb:

Are you talking about the keydiver chip? or something like that, where can i find some more info on what your talking about???

But with only 550's on a turbo that size you could only run around 15 psi and you shouldnt have to lean it out that much plus run 22 psi it just dont make sense
