Is this pod for first or second gen?

I just got this pod yesterday(15 bucks) and the guy said it came off his 91 Talon when I tried to put it on it it just seemed way off. There is no name brand on it. Is this for a first gen or am I doing something wrong?

doesnt look like a 1G A-pillar gauge pod to me. I have one sitting in my room right now for my 91 TSi and it looks more square(or less curved anyways) than the one you have. I would guess it might be a universal style gauge pilllar or it might be for a 2G.

Thats what I'm thinking but the guy that sold it to me swears he had it on his but there are no screws on it or nothing. i dont know if its for a 2nd gen witch I'm thinking it is.

I just emailed him and told him to check this thread he seemed alright he even delivered it to me. I didn't even bother checking since he said it came off his 1st gen and he brought it to me. Hopefully he will give me my $$ back. I'll keep you posted. I'm still waiting for an intake I paid for last week from someone on the trader and havent gotten it yet. This is my week I tell you.

I don't see how he could of had it on his car if their are no hole drilled

or any signs of sticky tape, even if it had it is impossible to have that much of a bend and have the tape stick to it. I guess I will just buy a new one.

He's giving me my money back. he checked this thread. thanks for your help again guys. You just saved me 30 bucks. The TB he sold me was from a 90 too...I'd buy everyone a couple of rounds but there goes my 30 bucks so I'll just say mucho gracias again..
