Is this normal for a stock 2g blt?

Just did my first blt and sprayed everything down with soapy water but didn't see any leaks besides a very small bubble at the biss screw. It would pressurized up to 14-15 psi then the Bov would open and I couldn't get it to hold anything past 15psi. It then bleeds down to around 6 psi in 18 seconds and then takes a full minute to bleed down to zero. I didn't hear or see any other leaks. Is my system in good shape or do I need to do a more thorough blt starting at the tb elbow and working back?

Yeah... Sounds pretty normal. The 2g bov's are pretty crappy and will leak boost like you said. That's why the 1g bov is an upgrade for the 2g's. I currently run a crushed 1g valve that holds 27-28 psi without a problem.;)

Cool that's a huge load off my mind. Been running rich so I just replaced the front o2 with an mtxl wide band and am sitting right at 14.7 afr at idle and I wanted to make sure that replacing that front o2 would fix it and that a massive boost leak wasn't the real problem. Thanks for the help guys! Next step is dsm link! Can't wait!

To fix the leak at my biss screw I got an O-ring kit at autozone, one that had all the common sizes, and I had to double up on the one that fit for it to seal correctly. I would definitely look into a new bov though too if I was you.
