is this normal for a 7bolt crank

My 1g 7bolt tsi had spun a rod bearing and I'm very tight on cash so I picked up a carquest reman crankshaft with matching clevite and ACL bearings to fit. Well I looked at it this morning and one of the journals looks like this

To me this looks like it will spin another bearing and blow up my engine on start up.

Any thoughts other than ###### return it for another one...I know I should get a good new crank butfunds are very limited. Thanks

The crank had a bad spun bearing before, and that is a weld repair.

I doubt the bearing will spin on crank up, But I would still return it for a diffrent one.
I would be more concerned with microcracks under the welded area.

If you ask the auto parts store that you bought it from, they may be wilin to order in 2 or 3 and then you can pick out the one you like best.
