Car is my 99 GSX. Every once in a while, at idle, the car feels like it skips a beat. Idle is perfect at 800. Never sputters or breaks up when driving. No misfire codes. The car idles fine and then just randomly skips a beat like ererererererererer*skip*ererererererer.

Searching on here, it sounded like it "may" be misfire. Plugs are brand new NGKs and gapped correctly. Wires are 2 yrs old.

any other guesses to what this might be.

You may be able to monitor the "miss" with a data logger or have a mitsu shop hook it up to the MUT. Even with out a DTC there still could be a missfire as certain parameters must be met to set a DTC.
