Is this ACT 2100 or 2600?

I purchased a used ACT 2600 pressure plate with about 500 miles (from the looks of it, it was pretty believable). So i proceeded to buy a New ACT street disk/ss clutch line/TOB.
I installed it yesterday & it doesnt feel like a 2600 (ive felt 2600 before)
The pedal feels lighter than stock. However it grabs alot better and feels ok.

My question is, does this sound like a 2100? or was there something im suppose to adjust to make is stiffer? or could it be a pp going out:mad:

I would say its prob a 2100 but i know that you shouldnt have alot of pressure at the pedal because it takes pressure away from the pressure plate. just my .02 cents it sound to be fine. do a up hill run in 5th gear and see if it slips. if it doesnt you sohuld be fine.

Are you 100% sure you bled the clutch correctly? My money would be on that, my 2100 was stiffer than stock.

ill try to see if i can get pics of the fingers.

I didnt get around to bleed the clutch, could that be the problem? LOL sorry for the newb question, this was my first clutch install and the person who helped me has done countless installs but is known to skip steps:notgood:...

Bleed the clutch, and make sure nothing is leaking from the master cylinder. You need to look under the dash where the shaft comes through the firewall and see if there is any visible fluid. If there is replace it with an oem unit. Also make sure the slave cylinder is not leaking, and replace with an oem part if necessary. 50% of clutch issues are with the slave and master. If they are old I would replace them anyways.

Yeah your pedal pressure should have definitely gotten stiffer. But usually when you put a new clutch the clutch usually takes out your master and/or slave cylinder. Then you feel no or very little pedal pressure.

Being that the 2600 should be stiffer the stock. I would say your master or slave is going on you. I would say change both because after you change one the other one will fail on you from being more powerful. Make sure you bleed the line correctly.
