Is this a factory spoiler, or aftermarket

story: I bought my dsm without a spoiler, i could of cared less about the spoiler but damn, all those holes were ugly! and i really didnt feel like going through all of the work of filling them. Heres the thing, im not complaining at all, but i have a feeling that this thing is aftermarket because i never seem a low gs/rs spoiler without the "nub" in the middle that connects the brake light harness. For 41.00 i really cant complain,the spoiler matches my car, however now i got a huge hole i have to weld and paint.

Did any 2g's come stock with this spoiler?

Looks like the stock 3-piece to me too. The 3-piece was on all 95-96 Eclipses, then the N/T 97-99.

97-99 Eclipse's came with that wing too, the taller turbo wing was an option.

Spyder's come with them stock too, just a little bit modified with the brake light LED's on the wing.

looks aftermarket to me. I can't vouch for it being from a 95/96 but the 97-99 versions of the 3piece have that pilar thing in the very middle.......leaves a giant hole when removed, and is how the wiring is routed.

Those holes inbetween the ends and center are strange as well. Other than that, clean it up, route some wiring and slap that sucker on

It is either after market or modified. I have a stock black spoiler from a spyder (turbo low style) and it has a middle riser on it, where the wires for the break lights go through. I am sellin it cheap...id sell yours and buy a mine or similar.

you know what, im guessing that is came from a spyder because all of the 2g rs/gs's i seen have the pillar thing in the middle. Im just gonna have to deal with it, cause i dont feel like spending the money to buy and paint a new spoiler. Im just gonna sheetmetal, bondo and plastikote spraypaint that big hole. hey i need the practice anyways.
