Is This A 20g?look!

i might buy this from somone and he said its from a greddy kit but it looks like a 20g to me.

its got that weird looking metal thing on the comp housing...to me it likes like a 20g.....does it say td05 or td06 on it....??..

If you are talking about the gold thing, It looks to be internally gated, Rather then using an external wastegate.

Greddy sold bolt on 20G's as the upgraded turbo for DSM's. The second turbo posted didnt look the same though so one is not a 20G. The second one had a larger inducer diameter as evidenced by the lack of a decrease in ID on the turbo inlet.

Both of the pictures I posted are of a 20g, The 1st one is off slowboy racing, And the second one is off of the parts catalog located on this website. The turbo the original posted looks to be a 20g also.

They are both TD06 compressor covers but look at the inlet of the one posted by the original thread starter, it has a taper so one would assume since the pics you posted the inlet was straight that the first has a smaller compressor wheel. Sorta like the diff between a 14B and a 16G, outside cover looks the same.

If it is a greddy kit then its an 18G. The 18g's look EXACTLY like the 20g's except the compressor wheel's are different. The difference I belive is the angle on the blades, its not as simple as counting the number of fins on the compressor wheel.
