Differences between a TD05-20g & a TD06-20g?

wat psi boost u r putting up with your Td06-20G?

in december ran 11.5 @119 on my td06 20g...6 bolt,ross 9.0:1 pistons,eagle rods,web cams 546/547,sprearco fmic,ported head,650's,2g maf,act 2600,hks 40mm external,afc,weight interior basically gutted

I ran a TD 06 20G. 06 comp housing and an 06hot wheel. that sucker was still climbing and making pwer at 27 PSI. That's where i backed off! I agree to go with the 06 comp housing and if possible the Hahn 10GM turbine with the 06 hot wheel. best combo IMHO. Mark

I don't understand why anyone would bother with an 05 comp. housing. It's way small for the wheel. As for turbine wheels, I'd skip the 06 and go right to the 06H. This is what Turbotrix sells as the "Street/Strip" turbo (it also uses the 3" inlet comp. housing). It spools like a B16G and hits like a Green up top. I've considered going to the 06H wheel, but not until I've taken full advantage of my current setup.

I am still not sure of whether a bug wheel in a smaal housing or a big housing on a smaller wheel is the better route. I would say an 05H turbine 10CM housing is a good compromise. A 6H should be very laggy in comparison.

I am doing a STG V wheel in a .63 housing and I think I wont see full boost till approx 5000rpm.

False. A buddy has a GVR-4 w/td06-20g. it delivers 25 psi at 3700 rpm or sooner. the damn thing responds like a 16g. its awesome. 16g spool, 50 trim power. he made 391 whp on a shitty tune with that unit.

the whole "g" series line is turbos from Mitsu are VERY under-rated. they are very, very capable turbos. the problem is the price; in the 20g's case at least....

i wanna see how my tdo6 20g is gonna respond to with nitrous next month 75 shot wet.I'm really anxious.Hey Tort9320g.....i'm the guy from NJ i had posted asking you questions about my 20g setup. I'm in the process swapping my webcams 546/547 for some hks 264's to better boost response ..I was was getting 24+ psi between 3500-3800 rpm with my exhaust cam retarded 2 degrees and intake retarded 1 degree.But i'm also running 9.0:1 compression pistons.With stock 7.8:1 ...i was experiencing slower spoolup 24 psi like 4000 rpm.

I just got myself a nice and clean 20g h. The part # on the housing is 79-11100 I found the diffrent part # for the 8cm, 12cm and 14cm, but what size housing is this? Going crazy looking for the answer. Just want to know before i install. Dont know what to expect for lag on this thing.

I've got a TDO6 and mine hits full boost at 4K because my wheel has been clipped 15 deg. Didn't mean I was False.
