Is there only one 2.4 crank (six bolt)??

Ok I searched the forum for the last two hours with no luck.... I went to the junk yard last month and bought a 2.4 out of a 1987 van. on the crank it only has the number 64 on it. MY friend has a 2.3 L and his is the same way, so I am sure this crank is the correct one..... Well, I went to get another crank and block today. This crank came out of a 91 sonata it is a G4CS block. This crank is a different.... there are no numbers on the crank anywhere. How do I tell if its a remaned or stock crank? Or did they make different cranks??? I have pics of the cranks if someone wants to help out or just knows the answer.....

Ok after a few days of research here is where I stand:

On most of your older 2.4 L cranks are nitrated and come from several I took mine from a 1987 mini van and my friends came from a pickup truck. On my newest 2.4 crank it came from a 91 Hyundia Sonata. This 2.4 crank is not nitrated and is made in a different factory. Im not for sure on all this just one of my friends that has built several 2.4's and is a life time DSMer. If anyone knows different please advise....
