is there any offical way to wire it up with a switch? i tryied to do it this way

Blue wire mod (explaind) - YouTube

but it kept putting it in limp mode

im using pin 106 which is blue wire to the pressure soleniod...

i dont know if its an e-prom tcu i havent pulled it ......ill consider other options (ipt kiggly ect) if there is no real answer...

any help on this ?

What are you wanting to do? Just having full line pressure, or full manual mode type deal?

What's your budget? Both of these questions need to be answered before I reply please.LOL

So you want full line pressure with no manual mode at all.Well, have you tried the tech section?

I was gonna mention a tech article by some A hole, but you don't want anything to do with manual mode.

correct.....so where is this blue wire mod everyone has done ?

On my mod the blue wire is not used.

What I can get from this idiot on the video.IS your using the blue wire from the trans. On the top of the trans there should be three wires. Two are for the solonoids and the blue wire in the video apparently is used for the blue wire mod.

But in the video, the dude has a switch, tcu, and trans. And does not explain where the ecu is in all this.

It looks like you run the blue wire from the trans, and the blue wire off the tcu, to the switch, with a resistor. This used to be a tech article. And it's not there anymore.

Let me see what else I can dig up.

thanks for the help... i tryied for days to find an answer.....i did this and the tcu goes in limp mode

Reply is for written info basically.

Lets start with what we know.3 wires out of trans. One is blue.3 blue wires going into first plug of ecu, two being power. The 3rd I have not used or tested. But what I'm seeing for the 93 ecu pinouts on talk is not corrisponding with pictures of my ecu.

Pin 106 the top left on the tcu is the pressure wire.
102 and 107 are for the solinoids.
109 is power, 110 is ground.104 is power,105 is ground.

101 is torque converter clutch solonoid
108 is engine communication signal.
^ For 3 plug tcu only.

On the top of the post it says for writtin info.

If I write something down on paper,I loose it or it gets thrown away. This is so I can be outside tomarrow, and look at a screen and then at wires.

You can get full line pressure.I assure you.with not full pressure those of us using manual mode would have soft shifts and not hard and fast ones.Tee hee.

Then you're not using the correct resistor or getting a good ground.

can some one please explain how they exactly hooked it up. please. what kind of resistor where did you cut the wire at which pin where did u ground ect ?

I have never done it but from what I understand you can wire in a 5 post relay and normally closed would just be like it always is and when the relay is on it would switch to a resistor that is the same resistance as the solenoid to trick it so it doesn't go into limp mode.
