Resolved Is there a gasket for oil pump rear cover?

It's been a while since I removed it and have since then scraped all signs of gaskets off of oil pump cover. Looks like there wouldn't be as it appears to be enclosed completely inside the egine block behind the oil pump cover and above the oil pan but I don't want to take any chances. Thanks
