What is that? Do you mean a switch that shuts off the injectors when you let off the gas? I'm not sure what year car you have...on 1gs, the throttle stop switch is on the back of the throttle body, 2gs don't have them.

The ECU monitors the engine firing and shuts off the fuel pump should the engine stop running. As far as I can tell there isn't an inertial switch for fuel pump control.

If you were to finish filling out your profile I'd know if you were asking about a 1G or 2G.

mike thank you. Fioresvt is my cousin. he was asking about the switch that some cars have that shut off the fuel pump when there is an accident in the rear of the car. i dont believe they have them but no worries as my pos is running again.

my 94 tbird has a fuel cutoff switch in the trunk, one day i pressed it wondering what it would do, and it wouldnt start till i reset the ecu.

havent found anything like that in the dsm. guess if you get flipped and totalled and cant turn off the engine and fuel starts pouring out youre screwed.
