I have a 6 bolt block and head im gona be putting in my 95 gsx with a 7 bolt.
My friend said that the lower radiator hose on the 6 bolt was different then the 7 bolt.
Is that true?
If so what hose am I going to need?

I could be wrong here, but the radiators hoses do not depend on the head, but rather the radiator itself. I know for RS & GS models have a straight hose. While GST & GSX have the curve hose.

There is no difference between 6 bolt and 7 bolt, the difference is 1g vs 2g. All 1g 6 bolt and 7 bolt stuff is the same. 2g's use a different thermostat housing, a different lower hose, a different water pipe, and a different upper radiator hose.

when i did my 6 bolt swap i had to buy a new upper thermostat housing. you may have to depending on the year of your engine and body. just match 1g with 1g and if your engine is 1g, you can use the 2g radiator hose for the 2g radiator. thats what i did. as long as you have the proper upper thermostat housing
