1G Intermittent Heater/AC blower motor?

About a year ago I had these problems as well. It was also winter when I noticed it. At random times he the AC/heat blower motor is dead. I can hear the relay clicking when I turn it to the high setting. It usually fixes itself on the next start-up. But this time it's been not working for a few days. First thing this morning it worked again. Tonight it has quit.

Any suggestions? Is this common?

Check for power to the motor, if it's there it might be time to replace the blower. If yours is original the brushes in the motor may have finally wore out.

I was mainly wondering if this was common. When I get some spare time, I'll have to tear into it a bit and check for power at the motor. I assume it's not getting power intermittently. And that would lead me to the relay. I can hear the high speed relay in the back of the dash. Where is the low speed/main relay?

There is a resistor for the low speeds. If the blower works on high but not on one or more of the lower settings you would check/replace the resistor.
