Okay so i picked up a 2g and the guy had a 6bolt motor for it with the mods done already to make it work (but not in the car). Ive done these before but never a full 6bolt i always done 6bolt with 2g head...and like 7 years ago just cant get away from these cars so im building a fun daily. My question is according to magnus i need to use the 1g throttle body, i have a n/a one and a turbo one, and a 2g tb but my problem lies on the front mount piping... 1g tb has that tube comming off it vs the 2g is just flat so do i need to just figure out what front mount this is and order the tb pipe for a 1g or do i just use a 2g tb and not listen to the magnus way of running a 1g block with 1g head on 2g?
i havent installed the motor yet which would ###### help me understand but i figured id ask now to get a plan going on if i need to order something or fab something up... any advice would be appreicated.

You can run the 1G TB and use an aftermarket 2G FMIC and its piping with no problems. You can use the factory 2G air inlet tube or an aftermarket 2G one with no problems as well.

Depending on how far out you are away from me you can just PM me and I'm willing to lend a hand, tools, and my mad crazy skills if needed. I do porting and media blasting as well. I have a photobucket album of some of my work I do as well.

sweet man I appreciate the info as well as the will to help me! im like 20mins from annarbor. Im far from stupid but this damn car has been fighting me from the day i got it. but its a dsm so oh well LOL. id have to take some photos to show you my problem im going to run into. ill pm you them. ###### wont be till saturday because i have wedding stuff i gotta do for a freind so my days after work are wasted. Once i get the starter shim i can put the motor in the car so ill get a better understanding if these pipes are going to work or not.
