I am looking at something different. And yes I understand it is ebay and yes I know you get what you pay for. I am trying to contact them before I even think about buying this. The design is different that the normal JMF manifold, similar to what the supras use. Any thoughts on this intake manifold? It says its a cast aluminum. And if you want to rag on me for thinking about about just keep it to yourself. Just thought I would ask to see what people think. Some sr20 guys are using them i noticed and have gotten good results.

At $670 (550+120shipping) I think it is overpriced. Also those runners are very very short. If you buy it do some before and after logs.

its being shipped from over seas, and being cast, it will be heavy, the shipping dosnt look to outta wack

No I am not running a 1g head. I emailed the company and am waiting for an email back. Yea there are two companies selling these one is KU engineering and the other is pnt performance. KU had the same exact one up but they gave you the option to give them an offer.

Kind of expensive for a part that you dont really know how it performs.I would be sketch about buying something that you dont know will work and for that much money you could buy a part thats been proven. But good luck whatever you decide to do.

If it says that the manifold is for an evo 1,2,or 3 then those cars would have 6 bolts, correct? So you have a 2g head, which has different shaped intake ports then that found on a 1g.So that IM wouldn't work on your car.But I may be wrong,or maybe your running a 1g head?

EVO 2 and 3 are 7 bolts. EVO 1 is a 6 bolt, same exact engine from the 90-92 GVR4's.

Yea thats why i contacted the companies. I emailed each one and have yet to get a response. I am going to email them each again and see what they say. I will not buy it if they do not get back in contact with me. I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried something like this out or anything.

Yeah the shorter runners contributed 15 whp less at 5500 RPM, but 45 more at 8000. Looks like your going to be needing that eprom tcu to get your automatic to shift that high. =)
