So I am looking at exhaust manifolds and I came across this one from turbochargers.com. http://www.turbochargers.com/store/...d=121&osCsid=429a2437e5982bbe34dd6db0e9be24d8 It is pretty cheap and flows more than the evo III and comes with the gasket and hardware I need. Does anyone have this manifold from GT EVO Manifold tc-1045 or know anyone who has it? I plan on hitting 300-350 whp so I am not going for huge gains if that makes a difference. Please let me know if this is a good buy or not.

I have this manifold and so does a buddy of mine, i got mine from Dsmparts.com for like $180 works perfect, definately felt a difference after it was on, i would recommend it.:thumb:

Jeff, when do you get full boost now with this manifold? Does it spool up to full boost at like 2500? I am just curious how much better this manifold spools up the turbo.

sorry, one other question for you jeff. Did the manifold install as a bolt-on, or was there anything you had to do to it to make it fit?

One of the studs on the turbo took a little bit to get out but other then that it will bolt right up. Turbo starts to spool between like 25/2700 rpms on my evo 3 b16g, definately felt a difference when we first got it on and that was when i still had the t-25. Its definately a good buy if you cant port like me LOL.:dsm:

That seems like a good deal. I went with the SBR manifold, it wasn't much more. $200. Not sure if there is a diff between the 2, but I think either of them are better than having the stocker ported.

Thats for sure you dont want to port a mani with thin walls. The sbr is nice because it is real thick and allows a lot of room for porting without hurting the integrity of the mani causing it to crack prematurly

Forced Performance needs to make a manifold for the FP30 series turbo's. Not trying to change the subject.... anyways, back to what we were saying.
