not using it anymore. I was running the BAP when I was running one set of injectors and pump gas. I wanted more fuel without having to switch to larger injectors. you can get a tonne more fuel/better tune by running your injectors on the BAP as well. the BAP is the same thing as the FIC easytune. its a voltage regulator. you can run the injectors at the 17.5 volts and you will get more fuel . it will eliminate the need for an accurate battery offset table. you will get a cleaner idle as well.

I ended up switching to 6 injectors. the primaries (main tank, 93 octane) now run off a quiet reliable evo 9 pump. that pump can supply enough fuel for 375whp. then the second two injectors run on e99 and a walbro 255. (boost activated) they supply enough fuel for 175whp. I only run 465whp and dont ever plan to exceed 550whp.

Man thanks for the reply. Nice set up. I like that you could have taken the cookie cutter route to get your hp goals but you thought about it and did it your way That's freaking awesome dude!

Do you run 2 different fuels at the same time then? Two fuel tanks? Two separate fuel systems? Or do the primaries and secondaries all take from the same tank?
Only 2 secondaries - where are they located?

Hey if anybody can tell me how to edit the pictures out of this post I will take them out to save screen space. I've already wasted about 10 minutes on it trying to figure it out.

Wow, 94, that is a complex set up. But hey, if it works, it works! Nice job.

If the BAP produces the expected results then im picking one up. I like the idea of just using it as a regulator/step up. Just set it to 16v(or whatever voltage gets you where you need at wot), then retune the idle. If the pump voltage stays rock solid and the return line isnt a restriction(as in you cant get it down to 43psi @ idle) then tuning is going to be a lot easier over all. From idle to WOT and everything in between, no matter what changes, the voltage at the pump will be at a guaranteed set value.

I think it can be set to increase voltage at a certain boost level but that, to me, defeats the purpose and adds in more complexity thats unnecessary.

please post the results on the new cams, im curious.
The bc276 cams came in today! I will install them next week immediately after I dyno the car with the fuel upgrade so as to get a fair 34psi overlay of the cyclone and jmf street.

Nice looking for more posts, I still you you I mind on those bc cams you referenced to me.
Yeah I am ready to put this thread to rest so everybody can benefit knowing what this jmf street is capable of. By the way do you still have the cam card that came with your bc276s cams I didn't get on with mine. I know you posted the specs somewhere on the boards.

No man I didn't get them I haven't bought them yet you said let you know when I want some cams, still in the works gotta hit the dyno first then ill be contacting you.

I ran methanol injection for some ten years. got tired of pump failures. So i designed this ethanol injection kit myself. ethanol is not corrosive like methanol. the secondary setup is identical to a factory fuel system and just as reliable. I have run the two ethanol injectors for three years on my daily without having to touch a thing. the secondaries go live at 5psi boost. the tank is 2.5 gallon and lasts through 2-3 tanks of gas before needing a refill. i run a simple low level light connected to brake warning that tells me when tank is low. no other safeties. the secondary injectors run at same duty cycle as the primaries (mirror duty cycle). so there is no tuning other than tuning the main fuel map as normal. love the setup. works very well.

Ahhh, I see.
This is something I've been thinking about for a while, your system sounds nice and relatively simple.
You switch the alky walbro on and off so the alky doesn't need a return line.
I suppose you fabricated the 2.5 gal tank yourself to take the walbro.
Same duty cycle - do you use engine management that has 6 injector drivers? Wait, no, I mean like with a stand-alone that has probably 8 injector drivers that can be setup for staged injection on a 4 cyl engine. Like that?
I still don't see where the 2 injectors are located - can you show that?

94awdcoupe, how many pumps have you gone through? FWIW, I've been running meth injection since about 2000 on the same pump. It might be time I throw a new pump in just for peace of mind.

here is a thread on it with all the needed details.

Have you made it back to the dyno yet? I'm thinking about upgrading my intake from the Cyclone, so this thread is right up my alley...
BTW, congrats on the impressive numbers so far!
Yes I made it back and my turbo went out. At this point the all that can be compared is done. I have upgraded my turbo to the 6266 gen2 therefore can't complete the comparison. You can follow this thread with my latest numbers http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/ne...tq-bc272-pte6266.481097/page-2#post-153441657 and these will be updated next week the new turbo is on the car.

Kel: You're STILL on stock feed lines? I mean, i see some wht to be looks to be 6an comin up to the rail. You layin down all tht power recently on stock/6/or8 feedline?
I prob asked this before dude, my bad if i did. Last question before the ambien whomps me

oh and do me a favor next dyno: dump that exhaust sraight down. disconnect the tback and just run a short dp

Yeah still on stock lines up to the fuel filter I am running -6 from filter to the rail.
