I am trying to install the B&M LSD insert and i have the vfaq in front of me. we are tryin to remove the two 36mm nuts and one of them broke loose but the one that is one top is not breaking loose because the top part of that gear is moving but the bottom part is not..is it broken and if so how do i take it off?
thanks

If you havent got it figured out by now...

The top gear is spinning freely because it has not been engaged by the shift rails in the transmission yet. So here is what you do. Drive the rollpin out of the 5th gear shift fork and slide the shift fork and selector collar down onto 5th gear, selecting 5th. Now put the transmission in any other gear beside 5 or reverse by using the shift selector. This will lock the transmission in two gears at once and you will be able to take the top nut off.

Then once you get your nuts off :dsm: gently pry the lower gear off then the upper gear off. Pay very close attention to the order of things so it can go back the right way. After doing things 10 times, it will get easier.
