installing a 14b on 2g

sorry if someone has already anwsered this question, I am knew to this and need help.... I want to replace my t25 with a 14b in my spyder eclipse gs-t, but im not sure exactly what i need to do it. The 14b doesnt come with a wastegate or o2 housing so i was wondering if i could use the ones off from the t25 and i was also wondering what exact oil lines and so on i need for the 14b to be install on the spyder. I dont have alot of money so i wanted to know if there is any site or so on where i can get a kit to have it installed or what i can do to have it installed and be reliable.. Thanks!!!!

Several different companies sell complete install kits for installing a 14b or 16g on a 2g, heres one on Road Race Engineering's website but lots of other companies sell them too.

is there anything that is less expensive? do you know if the o2 housing and wastegate would work?

The 14b should have it's own wastegate: it's an internally gated turbo. If yours is missing, then you'll need to get an external one, and that will require money for the correct parts. The O2 housing from the T25 will work, but you'll want to port it.

You can tweak the T25 coolant lines to work with the 14b, but you'll need to use a new oil feed line no matter what. The stock T25 oil drain will work if you file the bolt holes closer on the line/turbo flange.

Yes, this has been asked before... probably about the time the 2g came out. And a million times since then. They even made a couple VFAQs about how to do it with a hacker tweaker kit. The 16g and 14b are nearly identical, and mount in identical ways.
