What do you need to put a mitsu turbo on a 2g, specifically a 14b. I tried searching but it's hard without being able to use more than 3 characters in the search. I also saw the tech article but it was kind of skimp on the info. What are the exact parts that are not compatible? Like say I had a gasket set, the turbo, and a j-pipe. What else do I need? Water lines? Oil Feed? Oil Return? O2 housing????

I consider myself well versed in dsm cars but I have never owned or operated on a 2g, and I'll be putting this 14b on my friend's 98 GSX.

Thanks.

You can purchase a 2g install kit from many vendors.

SBR, ExtremePsi, RRE, and many other vendors sell 2g install kits that will include everything you will need to install a 14b/16g to your 2g(gaskets, j-pipe, lines, bolts, etc)

Hopes this helps

So if I had a j-pipe, gaskets, water lines, oil lines, I could install the turbo? According to the vfaq at least... I already saw it, I just wanted to check and make sure.

I know that many people have done this where are you guys at.

just buy new crush washers, gaskets, and turbo to manifold bolts. Just buying those things will save you money instead, of buying the install kit. Thats all i used to put my 16g on.
