14b on a 2g!!!!

ok so i wanna put a 14b turbo on my 2g to replace the weak t25 but i was wondering to do this do i need to buy that 200 dollar install kit or do i just need a j pipe!!! let me know thanks!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but you basically need...the Turbo "J" Elbow, J-Pipe, Waterline and Oil Feed Line.

You can use the stock J-pipe off a 1G; you just have to sorta flip your lower intercooler pipe over and stretch it a little. You can re-use most of the lines from the T-25 with a little gentle bending, just make sure to use new crush washers.

The only turbos you'll be able to install that won't require a kit like that is down-flow turbos, i.e. T28, T25.

Getting a 16G+ will require the same thing as the 14b. You can push pretty good quarter mile times with a 14b. If you can get a 14b for cheap I don't see why not. On top of this sometimes you can get 14b turbos that already have the oil feed line, water feed line, Turbo Elbow, with it usually only have to get the J Pipe seperate.

J-pipe and an Oil feed line are the only things you need...everything else can be re used.

Stock 14b outlet elbow (J-pipe), oil feed line, AND you will need different bolts that bolt the oil return line to the 14b. The bolts that bolt the return line to the T25 are bigger then that of the 14b.

I recommend a 1g return line.
