I'm replacing my shortblock and I've never done a clutch job before. I guess that you have to align a clutch and the pressure plate when you install them on the tranny. I'm not doing a clutch job or anything but I didn't know if there was anything like that you had to do to install a flywheel onto to a different motor. It's a 6 bolt if that matters.

When putting on stock flywheel make sure that the bolts are tightened down to 100ft pounds and also get so high temp lock tight on the bolts. Hopefully if you are taking out the motor you are going to get a new clutch kit and your flywheel resurfaced too. The alighment tool should be come with the clutch kit. Your not going to want to pull that tranny again. PM me if you need help.
