installing a double 2nd syncro...

how hard is it to install a double syncro in second gear? any one have a link to or get me directions on doing it? i tried vfaq and there was none that i found... thanks!!!

I'm assuming you have a tranny from a 1990, because if i'm not mistaking all w5m33 trannys that have 23 splines, like your 93 tsi, will already have a double synchro second. Putting the revised second will require you to swap a lot of internals. And I mean a lot, to the point that you might as well have as second tranny for parts.
